Hobart Salutes Culinary Creativity with StarChefs.com Rising Stars Artisan Award
Artisan Award Celebrates Craftsman Spirit of Future Culinary Leaders
Hobart, in partnership with StarChefs.com, recently recognized Todd Immel, chef at Atlanta’s Star Provisions, with the Rising Stars Artisan Award. This award highlights the creative outlook, philosophy and ambition of chefs committed to traditional culinary techniques. The award honors Immel for his dedication to the craft of charcuterie, which is an integral part of his current role as manager of the meat and seafood department at Star Provisions. Charcuterie is the art of making sausages and other cured, smoked and preserved meats. According to StarChefs.com, Immel’s skill and true craftsmanship have helped turn Star Provisions into Atlanta’s “go to” source for artisanal meat.
